Taste of Minnesota 2026 Expands Festival Experience with North Star Stage Lineup & Family Fun Programming
Free Fourth of July Weekend Celebration Adds Emerging Minnesota Artists, Interactive Family Activities and More
July 3-4, 2026
Taste of Minnesota is expanding its 2026 festival experience with the announcement of the North Star Stage lineup and a wide range of family-friendly programming designed to make this year’s event one of the most accessible and community-focused Fourth of July celebrations in the region.
Building on the excitement surrounding the previously announced all-Minnesota main stage lineup, the North Star Stage will spotlight rising local artists and emerging talent across rock, country, funk, Americana and genre-blending sounds throughout the two-day festival.
Friday, July 3 | 4:15 - 8:45 p.m.
Emerging Minnesota artists take over the stage with an evening of country storytelling, rock energy and soulful performances.
Saturday, July 4 | 12:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.
A full day of rising Minnesota talent celebrating the state’s deep musical roots through rock, funk, Americana and community-driven performances.
Beyond the music, Taste of Minnesota will feature expanded family programming and interactive experiences for all ages. Hothouse will offer live performances and interactive classes spanning music, movement and fitness, while Stomping Ground Studio brings aerialists, circus performances and hands-on activities for families throughout the weekend. Animal lovers can also meet adoptable dogs through The Bond Between rescue activation on both festival days.
In addition to live music and family activities, visitors can explore more than 100 local restaurants, food trucks, breweries, artists, makers and nonprofits throughout the walkable festival footprint.
To make getting downtown easier, JACK FM is partnering with Metro Transit to offer free rides to Taste of Minnesota throughout the festival weekend, and there is discounted all-day parking available at the 409 Marquette Ramp and Four Seasons Ramp.
The weekend concludes Saturday night with Minneapolis’ beloved Red, White, and Boom! fireworks celebration at 10 p.m., providing a spectacular finale to two days of Minnesota music, food and community.
Two days. One city. All Minnesota.
