Whether your family already loves sports or you are looking for something new to experience together, Gemini home games offer an exciting way to support elite women athletes right here in the South Metro community.
About the Twin Cities Gemini
The Twin Cities Gemini are Minnesota’s professional women’s rugby team, competing in Women’s Elite Rugby, the first professional women’s rugby league in the United States.
The team plays its home games at TCO Stadium in Eagan, giving local families the chance to experience elite women’s rugby right here in the South Metro. Rugby is fast, physical, and nonstop. There are no helmets or pads—just world-class athletes competing in one of the toughest team sports in the world.
The Gemini are part of a growing women’s sports movement in Minnesota, joining an incredible local sports landscape that continues to support female athletes at the highest level. Our mission is to grow the game, create opportunities for women in sport, and inspire the next generation of girls to see what is possible.
Why it’s great for families
Gemini home games are designed to be fun, accessible, and family-friendly. Matches are action-packed but easy to enjoy even if you are brand new to rugby. Fans can expect a lively stadium environment, local food and drink, community activations, and the chance to see professional athletes up close.
After each home game, fans are invited onto the field for player autographs, photos, and meet-and-greet moments. It is a great way for kids to connect with the players and experience the sport in a very personal way.
