Meet The Stages Theatre Company Cast For "Tell Me Your Dreams"

August 6 - 24, 2025

A Magical, Heartwarming Adventure Inspired by the Book by Amanda Kloots.

Stages Theatre Company is proud to announce the youth cast of TELL ME YOUR DREAMS, a whimsical and uplifting world premiere production inspired by Amanda Kloots’ cherished picture book. The show will take audiences on a fantastical journey through the imaginative dreamscape of a young child - featuring vanilla ice cream clouds, ocean-traveling trains, and limitless wonder.
Performances run August 6–24, 2025 on the Stages Theatre Company mainstage at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Tell Me Your Dreams is a Theatre for the Very Young production specifically created for children ages 0-5 and their families.
The cast features young artists from across the Twin Cities metro area, each bringing their own spark to this original story of connection, hope, and creativity. The youth cast of Tell Me Your Dreams includes Lucy Benz as Notion, Ella Bloss as Figment, Hildie Edwards as Imagine, Vincent Gartner as Devise, Olivia Kimal as Pine, Luka Little as Hatch, Vivian Nielsen as Fancy, Antonia Schulman as Reverie, and Hank Whinnery as Child.
The adult cast features Abbey Mae as Mama and Matt Ouren as Dada. This marks Abbey Mae’s debut at Stages Theatre Company. A passionate and playful performer, Abbey’s favorite past roles include Winnifred Woebegone in Once Upon a Mattress and Rusty in Footloose. When not on stage, Abbey draws daily inspiration from her young niece, Claire, whose colorful imagination and big-hearted spirit continue to shape Abbey’s creative journey.

“We are thrilled to bring together such a vibrant and diverse group of young performers to tell this beautiful story,” said Sandy Boren Barrett, Stages Theatre Company’s Artistic Director. “Their heart, imagination, and talent will help create a dream world that truly belongs to everyone.”

Stages Theatre Company remains committed to creating inclusive, empowering spaces for young people of all backgrounds to explore and express themselves through the arts.
